Good Morning Starshine The Earth Says HELLO :)

I am soaking in my laziness today,

College doesn't open until 11 a.m. and I am pretty stoked about it :)

I got a text from my man telling me Good Morning Lazy Butt and that is EXACTLY what I absolutely love about him, we just have a mutual understanding of each other, we get each other and it's pretty awesome, but only because the #1 AWESOME GOD brought us together :) Thank You Lord, I can never thank you enough :)

I have lots to do even though I have no classes, but lots of rehearsals later and a floor meeting, oh the beauty of being an RA is meeting new residents since I moved from one Res Hall to another, still feels a little rocky, but I can deal with it :)

I have a ever mentioned how interesting it is to start college on a Tuesday? But Martin Luther King Day was yesterday, he is pretty awesome since he helped shape people's perspective about such things as :I Have A Dream...:

So...I guess, what's my dream?
To Love God Each and EVERY DAY,
Praise Him through my dancing,

No Voice.

There is so much I want to say right now, but I must breathe.
Have you ever been put into a situation where you HAVE to hear what someone else is saying?
You don't agree with this one subject and your beliefs are being bashed against a wall?
You think that maybe you can handle this, but for two hours it is complete torture.
You want to say something so bad, but nothing comes to mind except what you REALLY want to say.
What you REALLY say is only human, but God is telling you to hold your tongue.
You can't help but feel rage inside of you with a sense of peace at the same time.
There is a constant prayer being said inside your head to help keep you from saying something stupid or doing something stupid to someone who is completely NOT worth it.
Now writing this post is NOT worth it, because I WILL have a voice for my Lord God Almighty!

Hello 2011 :)

I just wanted to say that I have noticed so many people blogging,

I started reading some of my friends blogs by stumbling upon them on Facebook,

It's amazing what you find out when you "stop to smell the roses"

I have been inspired by so many that I thought maybe I should try it.

I must say that it hasn't been easy, trying to format it the way that I wanted,

So, this will be a sufficient enough looking page for me :)

Anyways, thank you dear friends for inspiring me to write,

You have no idea who you are,

But I am okay with that :)

A verse that has caught my eye is "Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart" - Proverbs 3:3

People That Laugh.

I feel myself being constantly surrounded by people that laugh…a lot,
Sometimes I wonder if it is God telling me to laugh,
I do laugh,
But I think He is telling me to laugh more.

Don’t ask me why I thought of that,
Or why I like writing in this type of stanza format,
Because I will tell you that I don’t know.

I am not a journalist, writer or a poet (clearly),
I will tell you that my sister is the writer and poet,
But not me.

I write,
But only consistently to God.

God, He is my absolute favorite to talk about,
I can never talk about Him enough,
Nor will I ever stop talking about Him.
So, you might as well get used to it now,
Or ease your mind and not read this.

If you don’t like how I write,
Or what I write about,
Then please don’t read,
But keep in mind that by writing this,
I am sharing my real heart.

So, what is on my mind and heart is people that laugh,
I realized that there are two people that I know that laugh…a lot.
I feel awkward laughing with them,
Because I don’t understand what is so funny.
I have also realized that things that I think are funny,
Are not always what other people think are funny.
I know I try too hard sometimes.

So, what do I do?
Laugh and make myself look like an idiot,
Not laugh and feel like the outcast,
Or do I just listen,
Listen to how it is funny,
Funny from someone else’s perspective,
Instead of my own…

...Yes, I need to laugh more :)
